SHAH ALAM: The experience Malaysia's Iskandar Zulkarnain gained today, despite losing his second round match was simply priceless. Iskandar, who survived the qualifying rounds, was aiming for a quarterfinal place in the Celcom Axiata Malaysia Open Superseries Premier here.

Despite his best efforts, the 24-year-old Iskandar fell 7-21, 16-21 to Denmark's Jan O Jorgensen in 33 minutes. he is however not disheartened. "It's a new experience. But I know I am still far behind the top 10 players in the world," said a disappointed Iskandar.

"Don't compare me to Chong Wei … the gap is still huge. I have a long way to go but the experience of playing in the Malaysia Open is priceless. I will only get better playing in bigger tournaments,"  said Iskandar, who had defeated Indonesia's Anthony Ginting in the first round.

Jorgensen had some good advise for Iskandar and said: "He )Iskandar) can improve his game through experience."
