Director of Youth Development, Datuk Haji Misbun Sidek: “I’m pleased with the commitment shown by the coaches and players during the Movement Control Order (MCO). The coaches worked tirelessly and maintained strong links with the squad. The determination to remain fit as ever was clear from both parties. All players were disciplined and followed the training programs designed by the coaching team.
“After months of physical training at home, I’m happy that our juniors have been training on court at their respective state BA’s. It certainly helped the young players prepare for their return to ABM. I’d also like to record my appreciation for the coaches at the state BA’s for their assistance this past month.
“For the first batch of juniors, we will focus on training modules designed to assist them regain their on-court ‘feeling’ and rhythm. That will be our main objectives in these early stages.”
