The Varcolor Polish International will begin tomorrow at Beirun, Poland. Goh Jin Wei who just clinched her first international title last week at the Belgian International will be in action tomorrow as she has to go through the qualifying stage. She has been drawn to play against Daniela Bielinska and if she wins, she will face the winner between Clara Nistad and Kati-Kreet Marran to make it to the main draw.
Malaysia also did well in the womens’ doubles after Joyce Choong/ Yap Cheng Wen reached the finals of the Belgian International. They are the top seed here and will be up against Solvar Flaten Jorgensen/ Thea Kristina Johansen of Norway in the second round as they have received a bye in the first round.
As for the other Malaysians, they will start their match on Friday. Iskandar, the second seed is hoping to go far in this tournament after a disappointing second round defeat in Belgium last week. Yin Fun will start as the top seed in the womens’ singles category.
