Malaysia's up and coming players continued their strong form on the international stage. In Styria, Choong Hon Jian-Toh Ee Wei and Wan Arif Wan Junaidi-Haikal Nazri delivered two cheers for the national camp.
Since making the switch to mixed doubles department in February, Hon Jian-Ee Wei retained a perfect record by bagging their third title on the trot. In the final, the young duo powered past top seeds, France's William Villeger-Sharone Bauer 16-21 21-9 21-19.
"It's great to win three straight titles. We would not be here if it wasn't for Paulus. He was the one who asked me to give the mixed doubles department a shot. I am glad he gave me that opportunity," said Ee Wei.
"However, we still have a long way to go. We have to remain humble and continue to train hard," added the 2018 World Junior Championships girls' doubles silver medallist.
In the men's doubles final, nippy young pair Wan Arif-Haikal won their first senior title by overcoming Ronan Labar-Lucas Corvee of France 21-17 21-15.
New women's doubles duo, Anna Cheong-Yap Cheng Wen's efforts to triple Malaysia's joy were thwarted by Indonesia's Serena Kani-Ketut Istarani 11-21 16-21.
