Rising men's singles shuttler, Ng Tze Yong won his third international title this year at the Scottish Open in Glasgow.
In an all-Malaysian final, the 21-year-old Yong emerged victorious against his former senior at the Akademi Badminton Malaysia (ABM), Soong Joo Ven 21-18 21-14.
Malaysia’s two other finalists had to settle for second best.
In the men’s doubles final, Patatimo duo Wan Arif Wan Junaidi-Haikal Nazri went down to Christopher Grimley-Matthew Grimley of Scotland 22-20, 21-16.
In the women’s doubles, Anna Ching-Teoh Mei Xing lost 21-14, 21-12 to top seeds Rachel Honderich-Kisten Tsai of Canada.
