National men’s doubles pair Wan Arif Wan Junaidi-Yap Roy King narrowly missed their first BWF World Tour title at the Super 300 Spain Masters final, losing to Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Muhammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahan in a closely contested rubber game 18-21 21-17 19-21.

Meanwhile, national juniors Kang Khai Xing-Aaron Tai secured the Thailand International Challenge title, defeating home pair Peeratchai Sukphun and Pakkapon Teeraratsakul in straight sets 21-17 21-18.

Arif and Roy King fought valiantly, displaying promising performance despite the loss, while Khai Xing and Aaron celebrated their young careers' biggest title with a convincing win.
