BAM is proud to announce the establishment of the Asian High Performance Badminton Centre in Kuala Lumpur, spearheaded by Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Norza Zakaria following his election as OCA Vice President for Southeast Asia.

The Centre, located at PETRONAS Akademi Badminton Malaysia (ABM), aims to elevate badminton development across Asia by offering elite training to players, coaches, and umpires, particularly from developing NOCs. This initiative further cements ABM’s status as a premier training hub, boosting Malaysia’s reputation in the global badminton arena.

This collaboration between OCA, NOC Malaysia and BAM was formalized through the signing of an MOU by the newly elected OCA President, H.E. Raja Randhir Singh, Tan Sri Dr. Norza, and Datuk V. Subramaniam, Acting President of BAM, during the 44th OCA General Assembly at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, India.
