The home team romped to two titles in the 2024 BAM Malaysia SUPER 100 that concluded this evening at the Stadium Juara in Bukit Kiara.
It was another fighting display by the Malaysian pairs in the finals of both the WD and also the MD.
Up against the top seed - Nicole Gonzales Chan-Yang Chu-yun from Chinese Taipei - Go Pei Kee-Teoh Mei Xing were in inspirational form in front of the home crowd when they stood firm in the first set to roll to a 22-20 victory.
The win inspired the fourth seeded duo to turn on the power for a 21-11 win in the second set to land their first crown since the start of their partnership in June this year.
In the meantime, Malaysia picked up a second title when fourth seed Low Hang Yee-Ng Eng Cheong stayed the course to take the MD crown.
However, the pair was made to toil for their victory against a confident Chen Zhi Yi-Presley Smith from the United States when the latter took the first set 21-19.
But Hang Yee-Eng Cheong did not lose sight as they tightened up their game to win the next two sets 21-15 21-12 in just slightly over an hour to give the homesters further cheer.
