Day 4 of the 2026 BWF World Championships at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Arena saw six Malaysian representatives in action, with two men's doubles pairs advancing to the quarter-finals.

Men's doubles pair Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani secured their place in the quarter-finals after defeating Chinese Taipei's World No. 14 pair Chiu Hsiang Chieh-Wang Chi Lin 21-17, 21-17 in 42 minutes.

Meanwhile, Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik advanced to the quarter-finals after receiving a walkover from fellow Malaysians Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun, with Kai Wun unable to compete due to illness.

In the women's doubles, Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah's campaign ended in the Round of 16 after they fell to Indonesia's World No. 13 pair Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma-Meilysa Trias Puspitasari 22-20, 18-21, 12-21 in a one-hour and 14-minute battle.

In the mixed doubles, Goh Soon Huat-Lai Shevon Jemie were edged out by China's World No. 9 pair Cheng Xing-Zhang Chi 15-21, 12-21 in 34 minutes.

Another men's doubles pair, Wan Arif Wan Junaidi-Yap Roy King, also saw their campaign come to an end after falling to India's World No. 5 Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty 23-21, 19-21, 17-21 in a thrilling one-hour and 22-minute battle.
