New women's doubles pair, Anna Cheong-Teoh Mei Xing clinched their maiden international title by winning the Czech Open earlier today.

Playing in their first tournament together, the duo did well to overcome Indonesians Febby Valencia-Jesita Miantoro 21-15 16-21 21-17 in the final at the Vodova Hall, Brno.

In the men's singles, Ng Tze Yong went down guns blazing in an 84-minute title showdown against homester Jan Louda 21-16 16-21 25-27.

In the women's singles, wonderkid, Siti Nurshuhaini Azman's brave campaign ended after the 17-year-old lost 16-21 5-21 to Putri Kusuma of Indonesia.

The 2021 Spain International Challenge champions, Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun's third title bid came up short against Singapore's Terry Hee-Loh Kean Hean 21-13 15-21 15-21.
