They reached their second consecutive final, coming just a week after their Denmark Open title triumph.
Meanwhile, unseeded Hoo Pang Ron-Lai Pei Jing suffered their third consecutive defeat against China’s world No. 1 and defending champions, Feng Yan Zhe-Huang Dong Ping in the mixed doubles.
Falling 10-21, 13-21, Pang Ron-Pei Jing nevertheless secured their second Super 750 silver medal just five months into their partnership.
An all-Malaysian men’s doubles final took centre stage as World No. 11 Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun faced sixth seeds Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani.
Man-Tee turned the tide after dropping the first game 13-21, regained their rhythm to seal 21-15, 21-7, clinching their maiden Super 750 crown as a pair.
After partnered with different players over the past few months, Man-Tee reunited at the Denmark Open last week before sealing their reunion with a title-winning performance in Paris.
It was a landmark victory for Malaysia, ending a 22-year wait for a men’s doubles title and a 13-year absence from the final.
