Malaysia capped off a perfect day at the DAIHATSU Indonesia Masters 2026 with a historic triple sweep, as all three national representatives claimed titles on Court 1 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

Leading the charge, World No. 4 mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie–Toh Ee Wei claimed their first title of 2026 after a thrilling three-game battle against Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen–Alexandra Bøje, winning 15-21 21-17 21-11. They became the first Malaysian pair to win the title at the tournament since its inception in 2010.

In women’s doubles, Pearly Tan–Thinaah Muralitharan secured their maiden 2026 title following the withdrawal of Japan’s Arisa Igarashi–Miyu Takahashi, becoming the first Malaysian pair to win the title since Vivian Hoo–Woon Khe Wei in 2015.

Closing out the day, World No. 9 men’s doubles duo Goh Sze Fei–Izzuddin Rumsani rose to the occasion to capture their first 2026 crown, defeating Indonesia’s Raymond Indra–Nicholas Jacquinne in straight games, 21-19 21-13. The victory ensured Malaysia retained the men’s doubles title won last year by Man Wei Chong–Tee Kai Wun.

The sweep marked a memorable start to the year for Malaysia.
