The world’s best shuttlers have set a date with Malaysia early next year.
From January 10 to 15, they will all be in the country to challenge for the honours in the BWF World Tour season-opening PETRONAS Malaysia Open (PMO) 2023.
Fans intending to catch these amazing players, including our very own local stars, will be able to purchase tickets for the Super 1000 tournament beginning from 5 December. With the upgrading of the PETRONAS Malaysia Open, the tickets will be even more sought after, as such fans should quickly secure their tickets.
“Fans surely remember the excitement of this year’s event. It was an amazing event which saw capacity crowds on a daily basis. This year will be even more thrilling as the top players attempt to start the year with a bang. Our own players will be aiming for glory,” said BAM General Secretary, Dato’ Kenny Goh Chee Keong.
World Champions Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik along with women’s doubles aces, Pearly Tan and M Thinaah will be in the spotlight as Malaysian fans come out in support of their heroes.
“The backing of the Malaysia fans is critical and will go a long way in inspiring our players to go all the way at one of the world’s oldest tournaments.”
Tickets, with prices starting from RM40, will be available for purchase at https://my.bookmyshow.com/e/PMO23JAN beginning from 11am.
