BIOGRAPHY

Inspired by her mother, Wong Ling Ching chose the national badminton centre of excellence, PETRONAS Akademi Badminton Malaysia (ABM) as the destination to further her career in the sport.

Ling Ching got her first taste of victory by winning the U-10 tournament in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur at the age of eight.

The Miri-born shuttler never looked back since. She cemented her growing reputation after winning two titles; women’s singles and the women’s doubles (with Teoh Lexuan) at the PETRONAS U-21 Championships in Kuantan, May last year.
