Yap Roy King-Gan Jing Err’s determined run meanwhile came to an end against Thailand's Ratchapol Makkasasithorn-Benyapa Aimsaard 19-21 17-21.

In the boys’ doubles, China's third seeds Dai Enyi-Feng Yanzhe stopped the marauding pair of Wan Arif Junaidi-Haikal Nazri 21-13 21-15.
