Indonesia's Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto successfully defended their title at the All England 2024 men's doubles final, thwarting National pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik's bid for victory.
In a closely contested match that lasted approximately 44 minutes in Birmingham, England, Aaron and Wooi Yik were defeated by the Indonesian duo with a score of 21-16 21-16.
For Aaron and Wooi Yik, this was their second appearance in the final of this prestigious tournament, with their first being in 2019, where they faced Indonesia's Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan and emerged as runners-up.
The Malaysian pair had a promising journey to the final, showcasing their prowess by defeating Taiwan's Lee Jhe-huei and Yang Po-hsuan in a commanding performance with a score of 21-16 21-15 in the semi-finals.
