Malaysia kicked off their Arctic Open 2025 campaign on the second day of competition, beginning with the World No. 2 women’s doubles pair Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan, who started strongly with a convincing 21–13 21–14 win over the Danish pair.

Following them, compatriots World No. 3 Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik faced a tough battle against Denmark’s Daniel Lundgaard and Mads Vestergaard, but managed to maintain their rhythm to prevail 21–18 21–15.

Another Malaysian men’s doubles team, Choong Hon Jian and Haikal Nazri, also produced an impressive display to outplay China’s World No. 16 pair, winning 23–21 22–20.

Their teammates Junaidi Arif and Yap Roy King, Malaysia’s World No. 20 pair, followed up with another victory after overcoming Sweden’s Mio Molin and Max Svensson 21–13 21–15.
