Young shuttler Noraqilah Maisarah Ramdan who pairs with experienced Loo Bing Kun won their first international mixed doubles title - the Swedish Open on Sunday.
The match, held at IFU Arena in Uppsala, saw Bing Kun-Noraqilah cruise past top seeds Timothy Lock-Chloe Hoang of Canada.
Bing Kun-Noraqilah secured the victory with a score of 21-16 21-16 in just 22 minutes.
As champions, Bing Kun-Noraqilah received $1,200 USD (RM4869) in prize money.
In Uppsala, Noraqilah also played in women’s doubles with Low Zi Yu, but they lost in the semifinals to home favourite Malena Norrman-Tildo Sjoo.
