Kindly take note of the following for implementation with immediate effect and reference:

1. State BA’s Jurisdiction and Exceptions

• Junior athletes shall continue to represent their respective State Badminton Associations (BAs) in accordance with Majlis Sukan Sekolah-sekolah Malaysia (MSSM) rules.
• Should an athlete wish to represent another State BA, the change in representation must comply with MSSM’s rules on state representation.
• ​​​​Both State BAs concerned must mutually agree in writing to any such change in representation before it is recognised by BAM.

2. Junior Athletes Training Under BAM

• Junior athletes who are currently training under BAM shall not be released to represent their respective State BAs in national tournaments, except for participation in SUKMA.
