Malaysia’s World No. 2 men’s doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik ended their campaign in the semifinals.

Malaysia’s World No. 2 men’s doubles pair Aaron Chia–Soh Wooi Yik saw their run come to an end in the semi-finals after falling to Indonesia’s World No. 25 duo Fajar Alfian-Muhammad Shohibul Fikri in straight games, 14–21 19–21.

The defeat sees the Malaysians now trailing 0–2 in their head-to-head record against Fajar-Shohibul, following a similar result earlier this season at the China Open final in July.

The Malaysian contingent will now turn their attention to the Hylo Open next week.
