Malaysia posted mixed results in the quarterfinals of the Indonesia Masters, with several representatives delivering solid performances across the events in Jakarta.

Women’s singles shuttler Karupathevan Letshanaa advanced after defeating Taiwan’s World No. 37 Huang Yu-Hsuan 21-17 21-18 to reach her career first S500 semifinal.

In mixed doubles, World No. 4 pair Chen Tang Jie–Toh Ee Wei progressed with a straight-games win over Singaporean pair Hee Yong Kai Terry–Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja 21-16 21-19.

Top seeds Pearly Tan–Thinaah Muralitharan were in dominant form in the women’s doubles, brushing aside Korea’s Kim Yu Jung–Lee Yu Lim 21-15 21-9.

Meanwhile, in men’s doubles, Malaysia’s World No. 9 pair Goh Sze Fei–Izzuddin Rumsani also moved on after beating Korea’s Song Hyun Cho–Lee Jong Min 21-17 21-13.

Goh V Shem–Choi Sol Gyu exited following a three-game defeat to Denmark’s World No. 28 pair Daniel Lundgaard–Mads Vestergaard 21-15 20-22 14-21, while Man Wei Chong–Tee Kai Wun were edged out by Indonesia’s World No. 7 pair Sabar Karyaman Gutama–Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani 20-22 19-21.
