A strong showing from Malaysia's representatives saw seven of the nine players and pairs progress to the next round.
Hoo Pang Ron and Lai Pei Jing delivered a composed performance to defeat Indonesia's Marwan Faza and Aisyah Salsabila Putri Pranata (21-17, 21-9) in just 31 minutes.
In the men's doubles, young pair Aaron Tai and Kang Khai Xing advanced after India's world No. 4 combination of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty retired while trailing 6-11 in the opening game. The victory gives the Malaysians a 2-1 head-to-head advantage.
Goh Soon Huat and Lai Shevon Jemie continued the winning momentum with a hard-fought victory over Indonesia's Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja (17-21, 21-16, 23-21).
Mixed doubles pair Wong Tien Ci and Lim Chiew Sien were the only casualties in the discipline, falling to China's Gao Jia Xuan and Wei Ya Xin (11-21, 17-21).
In the women's doubles, world No. 22 pair Ong Xin Yee and Carmen Ting came from a set down to overcome Japan's world No. 17 pair Kaho Osawa and Mai Tanabe (15-21, 21-9, 21-19).
The men's doubles also featured an all-Malaysian encounter, with world No. 3 pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik defeating Wan Arif Junaidi and Yap Roy King (21-15, 21-14) to maintain their unbeaten head-to-head record against their compatriots.
World No. 2 pair Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah progressed comfortably after defeating Canada's Jackie Dent and Crystal Lai (21-13, 21-14) in 25 minutes.
In women's singles, K. Letshanaa overcame Denmark's world No. 20 Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt in three games (21-14, 19-21, 21-13) to book her place in the next round.
