Malaysia’s mixed doubles challenge at the Korea Open 2025 came to a halt after both national pairs bowed out in the quarterfinals today.

Wong Tien Ci–Lim Chiew Sien fell short against Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen–Alexandra Bøje despite putting up a spirited fight 12-21, 8-21, while Goh Soon Huat–Lai Shevon Jemie could not overcome the might of China’s world No. 1 duo, Jiang Zhen Bang–Wei Ya Xin, losing 9–21, 21–18, 8–21.

With both mixed doubles pairs exiting at the quarterfinal stage, Malaysia’s campaign at the Korea Open 2025 came to a close, ending hopes of a podium finish this year.
