The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) conducted trials earlier this month to select players for the Badminton Asia Junior Championships in Indonesia.

Following the trials, BAM has finalized a 22-strong team of youth shuttlers to compete in the continental competition.

The BAM Junior Task Force, chaired by BAM Deputy President I Datuk V. Subramaniam, announced the final selection of players today.

"Trials were held specifically to select players for the Asian Junior Championships. I congratulate those who have been selected. For the rest, I hope they continue working hard to develop their skills," said Datuk Subramaniam. "The selected players now have an opportunity to prove themselves against their Asian peers in top-level competition."
