Malaysia reached the finals in four categories and concluded the tournament in Junacka with an impressive haul of two gold medals, three silver medals, and three bronze medals.

Ahmad Redzuan Zulwaqqarizal-Teh Si Yan concluded their game in Mixed Doubles as the runner-up against Taiwanese pair Tzu-Yuan Huang and Chia-Yi Kung (21-23, 21-12, 18-21).

Carine Tee Xin Qi captured the Women's Singles title with a straight games win over second seeded Gergana Pavlova from Bulgaria (23-21, 21-9).

In the Women’s Doubles, Tan Xin Yu-Teh Si Yan dragged the third-seeded Hsin Tung Chen-Yu Hsi Chen from Chinese Taipei into an intense rubber set before closing the match with a narrow defeat (15-21, 21-19, 25-27). 

In an all-Malaysian clash, Damien Ling-Muhammad Shazmir Irfan secured the title against fellow teammates Isyraf Hafizin-Ahmad Redzuan (21-5,21-19).

Meanwhile in the semi-finals, three bronze medals were claimed in Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles delivered by Ayu Fu Sheng, Khairul Azlan Khashah-M. Iqbal Yusuf, and Damien Ling-Teh Xin Ying, respectively.
