Leading men's singles, Lee Zii Jia got the shuttlecock rolling as he raced to a comfortable 21-10 21-15 win over Toby Penty. Tokyo Olympics 2020 bronze medallists, Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik doubled the national team's lead with a determined effort over Ben Lane-Sean Vendy 19-21 21-15 21-16.
Second singles, Ng Tze Yong then sealed England's fate with a 65-minute victory against Johnnie Torjussen 21-16 19-21 21-11.
German Open 2022 champions, Nur Izzuddin Rumsani-Goh Sze Fei outplayed Rory Easton-Zach Russ 21-13 21-9 before Leong Jun Hao capped off the clean sweep through a 21-11 21-18 win against Cholan Kayan.
