Malaysia secured a 3-2 win over England, with key contributions from Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, as well as Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun.

Justin Hoh opened the tie but fell short against Harry Huang (19-21, 19-21), before team captain, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik levelled the score with a straight-games win over Oliver Butler and Samuel Jones (21-19, 21-13).

Aidil Sholeh was then defeated by Cholan Kayan (16-21, 15-21), putting England back in front.

Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun responded with a convincing victory against Alex Green and Zach Russ (21-14, 21-14) to bring the tie to 2–2.

With the score tied, Zii Jia delivered in the decisive match, defeating Nadeem Dalvi in straight sets (21-13, 21-11).

 

Malaysia will next face Finland in the following tie.
